A position is available for an Occupational Therapist serving grades K-8 in a K-12 school setting in Camas, WA. This contract role is for the 2025-2026 school year and requires 21 hours per week. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services tailored to students' needs within the school environment.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification
- Experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school-based occupational therapy
- Ability to work effectively with K-8 student population
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy assessments and interventions for students
- Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintaining compliance with state and school district policies and procedures
- Utilizing teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance student access to services
