A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting near Kent and Puyallup, WA. This contract position spans from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026, with two openings available. The role features a 37.5-hour workweek, providing services across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Washington State SLP license required
- Eligibility for Education Service Assistant (ESA) certification
- Experience preferred in pediatric speech and language therapy within a school environment
- Familiarity with teletherapy services and speech-language pathology healthcare standards
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, especially for clinical fellowship year (CFY) candidates
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver therapeutic services to students across K-12 grades, ensuring compliance with educational and healthcare standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other healthcare professionals to support student communication goals
- Utilize teletherapy techniques when applicable, maintaining documentation and reporting requirements
