This position requires a licensed Physical Therapist with qualifications for both healthcare and school settings. The role is based in Gig Harbor, WA, serving an elementary school population with a caseload of approximately 20-25 students. The assignment is a contract position for the school year (NSY), with a standard 35-hour workweek spread over 5 days.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Current Washington State Physical Therapy License
- Washington ESA certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of 20-25 students
- Skills applicable to both healthcare and school-based physical therapy
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services and interventions tailored to elementary students
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support individualized student needs
- Assess student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
