A healthcare-focused speech-language pathologist with experience in pediatrics and school settings is needed for an exciting contract opportunity based in San Jose, CA. This role supports elementary school-aged children through teletherapy and in-person services, providing essential speech and language interventions to promote communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for elementary-aged students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to pediatric clients.
  • Deliver therapy services via teletherapy and traditional in-person sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare professionals to maximize student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and comply with healthcare and school regulations.
  • Support students through all stages of speech-language development as a part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in healthcare and school environments.
  • Proficiency in teletherapy service delivery methods.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
  • Understanding of educational and clinical documentation requirements and procedures.
