Occupational Therapist (OT) – Full-Time or Part-Time (3–5 Days/Week)

Hybrid Role: The Bridge Center + Community Settings Across MA

This position offers a unique hybrid schedule :

  • Up to three days/week at The Bridge Center (TBC) in Bridgewater, MA, delivering hippotherapy (equine-assisted OT) and outdoor-based treatment in a beautiful, fully accessible 20-acre setting
  • Remaining days (optional if seeking full time employment) in schools, day habilitation programs, and other community-based pediatric and developmental settings across Massachusetts

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver services at The Bridge Center using hippotherapy, outdoor activities, and sensory integration
  • Assist with the development and facilitation of Wellness Groups and related programming to promote client well-being and engagement at The Bridge Center .
  • Provide traditional OT services in schools, dayhabs, and community settings
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (PTs, SLPs, BCBAs, AT specialists, etc.)
  • Educate families and caregivers to support therapy goals
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and comply with regulatory standards
  • Supervise OT assistants or aides as needed

What You Bring:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist in Massachusetts
  • Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
  • Strong passion for working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Preferred experience with hippotherapy and working with equines
  • Interest in or willingness to obtain MA Riding Instructor Licensure
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility to travel to service locations statewide for at least two workdays each week
