Job Description
  • Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to help them attain their goals and enhance functionality.
  • Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply research-backed techniques to improve patients motor abilities, cognitive function, and daily living tasks.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and specialized nursing staff to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their families about effective therapy methods that will bolster recovery at home.
  • Document and Evaluate Progress: Continuously monitor and record clinical advancements, modifying treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track to success.
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Commitment to lifelong learning through continuing education or graduate certificates is encouraged and supported.
Certifications
  • Current occupational therapist (OTR/L) license required.
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
