Essential Functions:
- Carries a patient census of 1-3 clients, as your schedule allows
- Evaluates the level of patient function and performance and equipment needs
- Develops the plan of care/treatment including long and short-term treatment goals, interventions, and the intensity, frequency and duration of services
- Completes initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments at appropriate time points
- Provides interventions and therapeutic treatment in accordance with the physician certified plan of care and occupational therapy professional standards of practice
M inimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Florida Occupational Therapist License
- In the last five (5) years, two (2) years of experience as a physical therapist
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Able to provide proof of current CPR certification, per organization-specific policy
- Able to visually and aurally observe and assess the patient
- Able to effectively deal with changes based on patient needs and scheduling
Working Conditions & Physical Effort:
- Able to travel within geographic area serviced by office
- Work is performed in a client's residence
- Able to work flexible schedule as needed
- Perform physical activity that may require lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 50 lbs., and physically stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, standing, sitting, walking, reaching and climbing stairs
