  • Implement individualized speech therapy sessions focusing on aspects such as communication, language proficiency, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Work hand-in-hand with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care approaches.
  • Provide essential education to patients and families to bolster progress during and beyond clinical sessions.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the patient journey.
  • Keep meticulous and timely documentation in adherence to state, federal, and institutional regulations.
  • Commit to professional development and knowledge sharing through ongoing education and peer collaborations.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA strongly preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
