Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 school located in Cicero, IL. This contract role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' communication and academic success across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff Provide direct speech therapy services to K-12 students, focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, and voice disorders Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall student support strategies Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Valid School SLP license or certification Experience working in a K-12 educational setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school personnel Ability to manage a caseload efficiently within a school environment Location: Cicero, Illinois This role provides an engaging professional setting within an educational community focused on student growth and development.
