Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in New Britain, CT, for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY). This role involves providing speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 25-30 students, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, with support from a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in pediatric students. The caseload includes a variety of needs, with no feeding therapy or fragile medical cases, and one student with a cochlear implant. Candidates will collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student communication goals.
