Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school in Simi Valley, CA, for the upcoming school year on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals holding credentials in speech-language pathology who are passionate about supporting pediatric and school-aged students in improving their communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs Provide targeted therapy sessions to address specific speech and language goals Carefully monitor and document student progress throughout therapy Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care Educate and involve families in the therapy process to support progress outside of sessions Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology required This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment with support from an experienced advisory team of licensed SLPs.
