Pediatric School-Based SLP

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This opportunity seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a K-12 school environment with a focus on pediatric speech and language therapy. Candidates should hold relevant certifications such as SLP - CCC and have experience in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or school-based settings. This is a contract position running now through August 15th with part-time hours totaling 13.5 per week in Wallingford, CT. Responsibilities include: Providing speech and language therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP goals Conducting assessments and progress monitoring within a school setting Delivering therapy via in-person and teletherapy methods as required Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory standards Schedule details: Monday: 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM Tuesday: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM Wednesday & Thursday: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM Some flexibility with scheduling may be considered Ideal candidates will have: Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or equivalent credentials Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings Ability to effectively use teletherapy platforms for service delivery Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Benefits include gaining valuable clinical experience in a supportive educational environment with flexibility in scheduling.
