A private special education school in Wallingford, CT, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades K-12. This contract position is available for the summer and fall ESY terms, offering flexible hours with a focus on serving a specialized caseload. The role is ideal for professionals with a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CT licensure who enjoy working in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized speech-language therapy to K-12 students within a private special education environment
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on student assessments
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance communication goals
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school policies and licensing requirements

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current CT Speech-Language Pathology license
• Experience working with a special education population preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with a caseload averaging 13.5 hours per week in summer and 16 hours per week in fall
• Strong communication and organizational skills
