This position is for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving middle school students in a vibrant K-12 educational setting in Independence, MO. The role is a contracted position for the 2025-2026 school year, providing an opportunity to support approximately 40 students with diverse speech and language needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Provide teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid Missouri Speech Language Pathology License
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within school or healthcare settings
- Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Ability to provide teletherapy services effectively
- Strong organizational and communication skills
