- Certification as Speech-language Pathologist; requires Masters in Speech Language Pathology

County salary plus $500/month supplement if fully certified as an SLP;

ATTENTION:
All applicants for posted professional positions must include a list of "specialized training relevant to the performance of the duties of the job" as a Microsoft Word or PDF file in the Upload Documents section within the Frontline system. The list must include the approximate dates, titles, and topics of the training. Additional documentation may be requested to verify authenticity. Specialized training will be considered based on the quality and relevance to the duties of the position. This factor will be awarded to the candidate having the most significant relevant specialized training.
All applicants not currently employed by Raleigh County Schools must include copies of "past performance evaluations conducted pursuant to WV Code 18A-2-12 and 18A-3c-2 or, in the case of a classroom teacher, past evaluations of the applicant's performance in the teaching profession as a certified educator". Each separate evaluation must be submitted as a single PDF document in the Upload Documents section within the Frontline system.
In the event the county is unsuccessful in securing fully qualified Speech-Language Pathologists, those qualified to be Speech Assistants may be employed for a one year term.
