As a Physical Therapy Assistant Manager, you will provide Physical Therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease process. You will also assist the Director of Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Services leadership with supervision and direction for the Physical Therapy Department. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Provides direct clinical evaluation and treatment of patients referred for physical therapy Assists the Director of Rehabilitation with direction of day-to-day operations Provides clinical oversight for staff providing physical therapy evaluation and treatment to patients Provides leadership to staff on the current programming for Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services Tasked with assisting in supervising staff performance, including fostering professional development and promoting a positive team culture Provides feedback on the fiscal operations of the department Evaluates the effectiveness of physical therapy programs and provides feedback for changes that may be necessary or improvements that can be achieved. Is a leader and active participant with performance improvement. Provides leadership and direction for clear concise documentation of patient progress and assists with monitoring of staff compliance with documentation guidelines, billing, rules and regulations Maintains current knowledge of rules and regulations that govern the practice of physical therapy and provides education of staff as requested by leadership Promotes excellence in patient and family centered care Provides professional consultation regarding patient goals, status, equipment, and discharge recommendations to the clinical team Supervises Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistant, and physical therapy students during clinical affiliations. Provides guidance to Therapy Clinical Instructors as needed.
