POSITION VACANCY

Bilingual Community Mental Health Counselor - Part-time (20 hrs. per week) Salary $36,500 - $46,000/year (based on experience) w/City pro-rated benefits (medical, dental, annual and sick leave, etc).

The Bilingual Community Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) provides emergency, follow up and on-going counseling services to a diverse population of individuals and families in a supportive work environment. CMHC provides support, short term counseling and resources for residents in crisis. CMHC also provides on-going individual adult and family counseling services at the CARES offices. Supervision towards licensure, and monthly onsite in-service training provided. Counseling and support services provided in person and virtually. CARES offers opportunity for one day a week of telework and maintains a focus on work life balance. Fluency in Spanish required.

Monday and Wednesday evenings required.

Demonstrate experience with, and sensitivity to, racial equity and gender identity.

Requires Clinical master's degree in social work, Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling (Or LMSW, LGMFT, LGPC).
