Job Description
  • Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients needs and create individualized therapy strategies to aid them in reaching their functional aspirations
  • Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methods to improve patients motor abilities, cognitive functions, and everyday tasks
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in synergy with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive, holistic patient care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Teach patients and their support networks about therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing progress outside of sessions
  • Monitor Progress and Outcomes: Keep meticulous records of clinical advancements and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track
Education
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
  • Continuing education and postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications
  • Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
