Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an elementary school setting located in Wellton, AZ. The role is a contract position for the school year (NSY) and focuses on providing speech and language therapy services to pediatric students. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Facilitate therapy sessions targeting specific speech and language goals Monitor, document, and report student progress in a detailed and timely manner Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including educators, therapists, and other staff Educate and engage families in the therapy process to maximize student outcomes Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Arizona, with an active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team This contract opportunity offers a chance to provide specialized therapy services within an educational environment committed to supporting student success.
