Position Summary
As a Registered Occupational Therapist at Cottonwood Health & Rehabilitation in Laramie, Wyoming , youll play a vital role in helping residents maintain or regain their independence through therapeutic activities that support daily living and quality of life. You will assess functional abilities, design treatment plans, and implement interventions that help residents adapt, thrive, and meet their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using standardized assessments.
- Develop and execute individualized care plans that address mobility, self-care, and daily functioning.
- Educate residents and caregivers on use of adaptive equipment, techniques, and home programs.
- Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
- Consult on facility modifications and ergonomics to enhance accessibility and safety.
- Supervise and collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as applicable.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current registration with NBCOT and licensed (or license-eligible) in the state of practice.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and patient-centered mindset.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with adaptive tools, splinting, positioning, and environmental design considerations.
