  • Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing professionals, physicians, and family members to implement integrated care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families to reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Participate in inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout the recovery process.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations.

Education

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Satisfactory completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if still pursuing ASHA certification.

Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
