Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient position with a 3-year experience requirement and BLS certification.

• Primarily outpatient physical therapy setting with some inpatient weekend coverage
• Schedule consists of two 8-hour day shifts per week, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 16:30
• Weekend work required every 4th Saturday, typically 6 hours or less
• No call or holiday coverage required
• Patient population is primarily orthopedic; no neuro outpatient cases
• Clinician may float to affiliated hospitals based on census and volume
• Primary documentation systems are Redoc for outpatient and Cerner for inpatient cases
• 50-mile radius rule applies for eligibility
• Position is suitable for first-time travelers
• RTO is capped at 10 days, with willingness to work at least one holiday if RTO overlaps with holidays
• Return staff must have a 3-year break before returning as a traveler
• Not open to local candidates within 50 miles
• Modules are completed prior to start and are self-reported
• Candidates may be floated in rotation with hospital staff as needed
• Uses Kronos system with badge swiping for timekeeping

• Minimum 3 years of physical therapy experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• State PT license required prior to start; compact license accepted
• Cerner documentation experience required
• Must be willing to complete up to 8 hours of onboarding modules prior to start
• Gray scrubs or business casual attire required
