Location: Southeastern Kentucky (Will serve regional offices in Hazard, Pikeville, and Barbourville)

About the role:
The DME Respiratory Therapist is responsible for Respiratory Therapist duties including coordination of patient services, product setup, and delivery from the DME Office. The DME Respiratory Therapist is also responsible for general clerical duties and medical records for Hospice patients served out of their regional office.
Requirements- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensed in the state of Kentucky.
- Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Previous Respiratory Therapy and DME experience preferred.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Thorough knowledge of routine clerical procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of computers and word processing.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in confidential matters.
- A pleasant telephone manner and ability to relate positively to all people.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment.
- Ability to communicate with healthcare professionals, hospice patients and families and fellow workers.
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance in compliance with the state insurance laws governing liability, property damage, and bodily injury.
- Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
