School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Troy, New York

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A long-term substitute Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for an elementary school setting serving kindergarten through fifth grade students. This role is based in Troy, NY, and runs from September 2, 2025, through June 26, 2026, covering the full school year. Responsibilities: Provide speech and language therapy services to approximately 40 students with disabilities across a range of academic tracks, including NYSAA and Regents. Deliver nine therapy sessions daily, tailored to individual student needs. Travel between buildings as required to serve the caseload effectively. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations. Qualifications: Valid Speech Language Pathologist certification with CCC credential. Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially within special education settings. Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying communication needs. Strong organizational skills and flexibility to travel between multiple school locations. Commitment to supporting students' academic and social communication growth.
