Description

• Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, language, and swallowing abilities.
• Engage in collaborations with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical professionals, caregivers, and family members to form unified care approaches.
• Provide education to patients and families to bolster improvement efforts outside of therapy sessions.
• Support occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to maintain care continuity throughout patient treatment journeys.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.

Education

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if awaiting ASHA certification.

Certifications

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting employment.
