Amergis Staffing iscurrently working with a much-respected facility in Worcester, MA and is hiring experienced Respiratory Therapists (RT) on a contractual basis!

Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ ability toextend)

Start Date: ASAP

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 36 (3×12’s) / Nights (6:45p-7:15a) / Every other weekend

Setting:

  • Level I trauma center
  • NICU

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of NICU experience
  • Must have trauma exp/critical care- acute care only
  • MA Respiratory Care license
  • BLS, NRP, RRT

TheRespiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management,and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The RespiratoryTherapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patientswho are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety ofhealth care settings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices
  • One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
  • Current CPR if applicable
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
  • Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
  • Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations
