Job Summary and Qualifications

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - PRN / Per Diem / As Needed

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to assist the multi-disciplinary health care team with the treatment program and plan of care, while promoting a safe, compassionate patient care environment. The COTA will work in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist as part of the interdisciplinary team.

What will you do in this role?

C arries out the treatment program and plan of care

M onitors outcomes as related to the assessment and goals developed by the OT

Reviews and co mmunicates the patients' status, requests modifications if needed

P rovides patient and staff education

M anages his/her own patient caseload seeking direction from the OT as appropriate

What qualifications you will need:

Associate Degree from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program

State licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
