A contracted Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Juneau, Alaska, for the upcoming school year. This role involves supporting students' developmental and functional skills to enhance their participation in educational activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to support academic and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other school professionals to facilitate effective interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure applicable in Alaska.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational environments, preferably K-12.
