Description
  • Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings to create tailored treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy techniques concentrated on mobility improvement, strength enhancement, balance restoration, and functional advancement
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation professionals to maximize recovery results
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge preparations, and at-home exercises
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in line with facility standards and regulatory requirements
  • Engage in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences to ensure comprehensive patient care
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification is preferred
