Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the academic school year in an elementary school setting located in Kalamazoo, MI. This role focuses on supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade, providing specialized speech-language services to enhance communication and learning. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for K-5 students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Deliver therapy services directly to students, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and reports. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive school environment. Qualifications: Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) OR Clinical Fellowship Year completed or in progress (SLP-CFY). Experience working with pediatric populations, specifically within school settings. Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders common among elementary school-aged children. Teletherapy experience is a plus but not required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team. Location: Kalamazoo, MI
