This position offers an opportunity to serve a diverse K-12 student population as a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist focused on school-based services. The role is based in Renton, WA, and is a contract position for the next school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Possess valid School Speech-Language Pathologist certification/license
- Experience providing speech and language therapy services within K-12 educational settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies and individualized education program (IEP) development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students speech, language, voice, and communication needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to support student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and family members to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including therapy notes and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise regarding speech-language goals and progress
