Description
- Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and senior demographics utilizing formal assessments and observational methods.
- Design tailored treatment strategies that cater to both immediate goals and the broader communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs of each individual.
- Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions targeting key areas, including communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
- Partner with occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond the therapy room.
- Occasionally engage in inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring seamless care throughout the treatment process.
- Keep precise and timely documentation that adheres to regulatory standards set by state, federal, and institutional guidelines.

Education
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with ASHA certification pending if applicable.
Certifications

- Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of hire.
