  • Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that concentrate on communication, language, fluency, voice articulation, and swallowing rehabilitation.
  • Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, medical doctors, caregivers, and families to establish synergistic care paradigms.
  • Equip patients and their families with educational resources to support sustained progress outside the clinical environment.
  • Assist with select inpatient evaluations and therapeutic interventions, ensuring a smooth continuum of care throughout the patients recovery journey.
  • Keep detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Engage in ongoing education to stay abreast of advances and best practices within the field.

Qualifications

  • A masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Certifications

  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of employment.
