Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 educational setting in Concord, NC, on a contract basis for the upcoming school year. This role involves providing speech and language therapy services to students, supporting their communication development, and collaborating with educators and families to promote academic success. Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students across K-12 grade levels Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs and develop appropriate intervention plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology within educational settings Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as a School SLP Experience providing speech-language services in a school environment preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families Location: Concord, North Carolina
