Role Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted speech therapy sessions focusing on language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
• Partner with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct unified and effective care plans.
• Facilitate education for patients and their families to promote progression outside of therapy sessions.
• Handle occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions with dedication, ensuring seamless care throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation adhering to state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Keep informed on advancements in your field through ongoing education and collaborative peer learning.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet credentialed by ASHA.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is favored.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory within 30 days of hiring.
