Duties

Responsible for conducting one or more group exercise classes which includes but is not limited to lectures, exercise instruction and various hletic endeavors.
Must promote good pron relionships and enhance the image of the respective program.
The incumbent reviews the schedule of functions th are to take place during the assigned shift in order to ascertain wh special preparions are required.
Ensures th necessary space, supplies and equipment are available and th room arrangements are completed prior to start of class.
Provides instruction and guidance to all prons.
Exercises supervision over all operion of the class/activity.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION: Must posses and maintain all times a Certified Group Exercise Instructor/Trainer Certifice from one of the following organizions: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM); Cooper Institute; American Council on Exercise (ACE); Aerobic and Fitness Associion of America (AFAA); American Aerobic Associion Internional/Internional Sports Medicine Associion (AAAI/ISMA); Nional Dance Exercise Instructor Training Associion (NDEITA);Internional Dance and Exercise (IDEA); Young Men's Christian Associion (YMCA).Must possess and maintain all times a Cardiopulmonary Resuscition (CPR) Instructor certifice and First Aid Instructor certifice.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Position has been designed Non-Critical sensitive. As a position of trust and ITII position, employment is conditional on the successful completions of an Access Nional Agency Check (ANACI).
Must possess and maintain a current driver's license to drive a government vehicle in the performance of duties may be required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be a mure individual with prior leader/supervisory experience.
Must possess an adeque level of physical fitness to use and demonstre all exercises, and be able to lead all classes
Excellent written and verbal communicion and interview skills are required to assess pron needs and assist with the promotion and marketing of the program.
Considerable tack and diplomacy as well as finesse are required when interacting with participants.
Basic knowldege of marketing/publicity merials and the use of basic computer hardware and software is preferred.
