Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for performing evaluations pursuant to physician's orders, payer authorizations and agency guidelines. Responsible to develop treatment plans and provide treatment, consistent with benefit and reimbursement level for best functional outcome for patient. Responsible to appropriately and effectively complete documentation including evaluations, progress notes, weekly summaries, or monthly reports. Responsible for maintaining current state licenses and certification as required by appropriate state laws and rules. Responsible to achieve quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication. Responsible for notifying HR of any license or certification suspension or termination within 24 hours. Responsible for maintaining Medicaid provider number. Maintain the clinical records system in accordance with Medicaid and CREOKS rules and regulations. To read and be knowledgeable of all current CREOKS policies and procedures. Responsible for understanding and following all of the administrative, clinical, and programmatic policies and procedures of the agency. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications/Competencies Required: Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy for the state of Oklahoma. Must be Licensed or License-eligible with Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure & Supervision (OBMLS). Possess accurate assessment and referral skills. Possess the ability to provide appropriate treatment interventions relative to the specific needs of each person served. Basic understanding of social and cultural factors influencing human behavior. Knowledge of various treatment modalities as well as a basic understanding of the impact of physical health on overall wellbeing. Capability to work as part of a team. Core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders Experience working in integrated care facilities preferred. Able to provide culturally competent treatment. Clinical documentation must meet CREOKS, state, and National standards. Conceptual grasp of community based mental health and substance abuse services.
