Description

- Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions targeting language skills, fluency, voice production, and swallowing.
- Work collaboratively alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop unified care approaches.
- Provide education to patients and their families to facilitate progress beyond therapy sessions.
- Conduct occasional inpatient assessments and interventions, ensuring continuous care throughout each patient's recovery journey.
- Ensure proper documentation that adheres to state, federal, and organizational standards.
- Engage in ongoing learning to stay updated with advancements in speech-language pathology through continuing education and peer collaboration.
Education
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with ASHA certification sought after.
Certifications
- License as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state.
