Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations for patients across pediatric to geriatric demographics through both standardized measures and observation.
  • Design individualized treatment plans catering to immediate and ongoing communication and swallowing needs.
  • Execute personalized speech therapy interventions targeting language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing challenges.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts alongside fellow therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop integrated care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families to encourage treatment follow-up and continuity outside our facilities.
  • Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless patient care throughout their journey.
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay abreast of industry advancements and collaborate with peers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you are not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
