Overview:
Due to growth, Total Rehab is now hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist for an Outpatient Orthopedics focused position in Grinnell, IA. This is a Staff Level role.
New grad PTs will be mentored and supported.
The physical therapist will treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting with some emphasis on Worker's Compensation cases. Our ideal candidate is interested in a career that emphasizes the highest quality patient care and excellence as a clinician.
Hours / Work Schedule:
This is a full-time or part-time position with a flexible schedule based on the preferences of the candidate hired and patient needs. The clinic is open Monday through Friday. Weekend hours are available, but only if desired by the candidate hired.
Flexible scheduling with an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team. A full-time work schedule will include working 36 to 40 hours a week.
Part-time candidates will work at least 20 hours per week.
Physical Therapists have the autonomy to choose their start and end times in their work day. 10-hour work days are preferred, but it is not required.
Caseload/Patient Population:
The patient population consists of all age ranges and a variety of outpatient diagnoses.
This position is ideal for anyone interested in gaining broad knowledge in general outpatient orthopedics while still having opportunities to specialize if desired.
PTs on the team see an average of 1 patient per hour. There are no PTAs or Aides. All one-on-one, direct patient care is to be provided by Physical Therapists.
Compensation:
A brand-new grad can expect to receive a yearly salary in the ballpark of $63,000. The compensation package will increase based on the experience of the candidate hired.
Job Requirements:
Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).
Eligible for Iowa state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
No experience required - New grad PTs will be considered.
Hands-on patient care and manual therapy skills are highly valued.
