Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist II to join our Child and Family Support Center team. This role involves delivering high-quality therapy services in a variety of settings including home, community, center-based, and telehealth environments. The therapist will work with children with developmental disabilities and their families to support skill development in fine motor, visual motor, oral motor/feeding, adapted living skills, and sensory processing.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver ongoing occupational therapy services and caregiver training using engaging, family-centered approaches.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and collaborate with families to develop individualized intervention plans.
- Maintain communication with referral sources and community providers to coordinate care and build strong partnerships.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in a specialized area and mentor others in that domain.
- Meet revenue goals and complete documentation in accordance with Institute, Joint Commission, and AOTA standards.
- Actively participate in team meetings, conferences, and interdisciplinary training programs.
- Contribute to program development through workshops, special projects, and supervision of trainees.
- Licensure: Must hold and maintain a valid Occupational Therapist license in Maryland.
- Certification: Current CPR certification required.
- Education: Masters degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of licensed occupational therapy experience, including 2 years in a specialty area. Pediatric and rehabilitation experience preferred. Experience coordinating community services is a plus.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients and equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to travel within Maryland and occasionally nationally.
- Must be available to work outside of standard hours as needed.
- May be exposed to hazardous materials or challenging situations.
- Reports To: Occupational Therapist IV or Manager, Occupational Therapy
- Supervises: May supervise occupational therapy students/trainees

Minimum pay range USD $87,227.00/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $107,504.00/Yr.
