Job Description
A healthcare professional is sought to provide speech-language pathology services within a high school setting in Joliet, IL. This contract role spans the school year, offering an engaging opportunity to support a caseload of approximately 25 students with mild to moderate needs. The position requires a commitment of three days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services tailored to the needs of high school students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and school regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois license for SLP (Speech-Language Pathologist) or SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant)
- For SLPs: Professional Educator License (PEL) for Illinois schools issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Relevant experience or certification in pediatrics, school settings, or clinical fellowship year (CFY) preferred
Work Schedule and Location:
- Three days per week within a high school environment
- Position based in Joliet, Illinois
