A full-time, in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year (CSY) in a K-12 educational setting located in Smithfield, NC. This contracted role requires a licensed SLP holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP certification with CCC credential
- Experience working with students across the K-12 grade levels
- Ability to perform assessments and develop individualized speech-language therapy plans
- Skilled in implementing evidence-based interventions for a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and participate in meetings related to students' educational planning
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
- In-person attendance required throughout the school year
