A full-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for a contracted leave of absence covering one semester. This onsite role serves K-12 students, providing essential speech and language therapy within a dynamic educational setting located in Hayward, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation to track student improvement and compliance with state standards
- Participate in professional development and team meetings to stay current on best practices and enhance service delivery
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid California Speech Language Pathologist license
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) preferred
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads in school settings is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students and stakeholders
