FTE: 0.7, Shift: Days, Schedule: Rotating weekends

Position Summary

The Special Procedures Therapist is responsible for performing diagnostic pulmonary function exams and assisting and consulting with physicians during special procedures. This position works closely with physicians in providing diagnostic and therapeutic patient care. Work situations require a service-oriented individual, attention to detail, and discretion and good judgement in decision making. Internal contacts are primarily with nursing staff and management. External contacts include physicians, patients, and families.

Requirements

  • Graduate of AMA approved Respiratory Therapy training program, with additional college courses as required by the NBRC
  • Registry Eligible
  • Certified as Respiratory Care Practitioner with the State of Washington
  • Minimum two (2) years clinical experience with one year in the area of pulmonary function testing

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $40.04 - $66.18 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
