Department's Website:Summary of Job Duties:The Occupational Therapist is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based hand therapy services to a diverse outpatient population. This role involves comprehensive patient evaluations, development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, reassessments, patient education, and interdisciplinary communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced clinical skills in the area of upper extremity rehabilitation and uphold standards consistent with the UAMS Medical Center Code of Conduct, Joint Commission standards, and AOTA/HTCC/ASHT best practices.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2002 plus 2 years of occupational therapy experience OR Master's degree in Physical Therapy if graduated prior to 2016 OR Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy; Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure.

Current Arkansas PT license

Interest in clinical education for physical therapy aides and clinical rotation students.

Ability to read, write, and communicate with clinic staff, physicians, and the public.

Must possess good hand-eye coordination and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail.
