Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students in a K-12 educational setting located in Commerce City, CO. This role focuses on assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring to support the communication skills of diverse student populations throughout the contract school year (CSY). Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations and interpret findings to develop individualized plans. Implement evidence-based therapy tailored to students' specific communication needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress reports. Provide consultation and training to staff related to speech and language strategies. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise. Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). State license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Colorado. Experience working within school settings preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Location: Commerce City, Colorado
