Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in a school setting. This contract position is ideal for a dedicated professional holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) who is passionate about helping students develop their communication skills. The role requires availability for 2-3 days per week and is aligned with the school calendar year schedule. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language evaluations for students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education staff to support student progress Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions Participate in meetings and trainings as required by the school district Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently while managing a caseload effectively Valid licensure to practice in the state required Location: Jacksonville, AL
