Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for an elementary school setting in Napa, CA, on a contract basis for the 2023-2024 school year. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to support the developmental needs of school-aged children within a collaborative educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough evaluations of students presenting with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings Deliver targeted therapy sessions to achieve specific speech and language goals Monitor, document, and communicate student progress with accuracy and detail Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including educators, administrators, and healthcare professionals Engage families by educating and involving them in the therapy process to reinforce goals at home Qualifications and Experience: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively Additional Requirements: Active licensure approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology This contract opportunity offers professional support, including access to a knowledgeable advisory team of SLPs within the state, ensuring you have the resources needed to advance your practice.
