Occupational Therapist School Setting - Waterville, ME

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract This opportunity is for a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide services in a K-12 school setting located in Union, ME. The position is a contract role for the 2024-2025 school year, starting September 2, 2024, and ending June 11, 2025. The schedule consists of 2.5 days per week, totaling approximately 20 hours, supporting a caseload of 10 to 15 students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to students according to individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators, parents, and other related service providers to support student development. Conduct evaluations and document student progress in compliance with state and school policies. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creation of individualized intervention plans. Qualifications: Must hold valid Occupational Therapy licensure and meet all state certification requirements for practice in Maine (non-negotiable). Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage caseload efficiently within designated schedule.
